Response to Spiritual Abuse
Casey City Church, Victoria Australia

Overview
Statement (original)
The Casey Trust Fund has been established with one primary purpose: to assist those affected by emotional, psychological, or spiritual harm during their time at Casey City Church. It is our hope that this fund will provide a pathway toward healing and restoration for everyone impacted. As followers of Christ, we believe in the power of redemption and renewal, but we also know that healing often requires support from skilled professionals. The Trust Fund exists to help you access that support through counselling, therapy, or other professional care. This initiative is a tangible acknowledgment of the harm done and a commitment to help you take steps toward recovery.

Guidance on Survivor Care & Resources
Owing to ongoing governance concerns, procedural obstacles, and a lack of independent oversight, advocates currently do not recommend the Casey Charitable Counselling Trust as a suitable avenue for survivor support.
Alongside independent groups like Uphold Australia, we hope to see the Trust’s resources transferred to an independent, trauma-informed body equipped to provide true, uncompromised care.
If you require support processing spiritual or prophetic abuse, or secondary trauma tied to Casey City Church and events since 2023, please reach out to us directly.
